TransportCamp, Brisbane 2023

  • Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads Conference Centre (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

This event was the inaugural TransportCamp Brisbane event.

TransportCamp is a global phenomenon - an ‘unconference’ that brings together transport professionals, urban visionaries, technologists, and others interested in the intersection of urban mobility, cities, and technology.

TransportCamp raises awareness of this opportunity and builds connections and knowledge between the often siloed innovators in public administration, transport operations, urban planning, and entrepreneurship.

It is the only event where the attendees set the agenda and collaborate to determine what are the key topics they want to hear about and discuss.

Topics can be broad ranging but should include an element of transport and mobility innovation.

There is no strict format to adhere to for each session. You can choose the format from the options below (but not limited to):

  • Discussion circle

  • Workshop

  • Lecture-style presentation with Q&A

  • Idea pitch with feedback

TransportCamp is proudly brought to you by:

TCSyd2019.png

TransportCamp is a global phenomenon - an ‘unconference’ that brings together transport professionals, urban visionaries, technologists, and others interested in the intersection of urban mobility, cities and technology.

This event is the inaugural TransportCamp Sydney event. Take a look at the video below of the most recent Australian TransportCamp from 2017 in Melbourne.

Recent advances in technology—mobile apps, open source software, open data and spatial analysis—present an opportunity to improve mobility more immediately and at a lower cost than has ever been possible in the past.

TransportCamp raises awareness of this opportunity and builds connections and knowledge between the often siloed innovators in public administration, transport operations, urban planning and entrepreneurship.

It is the only event where the attendees set the agenda and collaborate to determine what are the key topics they want to hear about and discuss.
